Takeshi had his 6 month checkup today. He weighed in at 18 lbs and 9.75 ounces (90th percentile) and measured 27.75 inches (90th percentile) — our little boy is just growing and growing! The one thing that concerns me is that his head measured 17 inches and is only in the 25th percentile… so he basically is big and long but has a little head. He also got his shots, which he did much better with and only cried on the third and final shot (he didn’t seem to notice the first two). The doctor is still trying to push the flu shot but we declined it for the baby as well as ourselves. I wouldn’t want it for myself so I am not going to make Takeshi take it.

I am hoping that we get to go to the pumpkin patch this weekend. I’ve never been to one so it should be lots of fun! I suppose this counts as one of Baby’s Firsts…
