Little T started out with a low-grade fever on Tuesday. By Wednesday night it had jumped up to 106.6 (even though we were giving him Tylenol every 4-5 hours). We scheduled an appointment with his pediatrician on Thursday but they were running behind and of course, his fever was pretty much nonexistent so we cancelled. Then he started throwing up yesterday (Friday) and he just rocket-vomited on the way back from the mall. Oh yes, and he is breaking out all over his body. And he’s super nasty cranky. He’s also gone on a sort of nursing strike and I was so engorged yesterday that I had to pump-and-dump.
We’re not sure what it could be but I’m trying to keep track of what’s going in and what’s coming out. We’re hoping he doesn’t have some sort of blockage because Christ Almighty that would suck. I’m seriously contemplating a trip to the ER but I’m pretty sure they’ll want to get X-Rays and he just had that done earlier this year — I’m not trying to turn my son into a glowing Q-Pee doll.
So for now I am eliminating plums from both our diets. That seems to be the only new-ish thing that he’s eaten in the past few days. (Although we have had plums before, it’s been a while… )
I guess the only thing we can do now is sit and wait.
