Kenji has been pulling himself up to stand for about two weeks now. Any object that has the littlest bit of height is used to help him in his quest to take over the world. The only problem is that he hasn’t figured out how to get down so once he tires of standing, he starts to complain which then slowly works itself into full on crying. It cracks me up because there is absolutely nothing wrong with him; he’s just “stuck.”

At 6 months old, Kenji weighs about* 17 pounds (30th percentile) and measures 27.5 inches (75th percentile).

*Kenji’s weight is a guesstimate because the nurse could not get a good number because he kept on moving on the scale. I later weighed him myself when she stepped out of the room and I got 15 lbs 9 ounces. I am seriously thinking of switching doctors because the incompetence of the doctor and nurse as well as the nurse’s bipolar attitude is starting to rub me the wrong way.

I spent 45 minutes laying with takeshi in my arms waiting for him to pass out. At the last moment, he decides that it is much more comfortable to lay on a cushion. Meh!

His abuela gives him decaf coffee. Wtf!
