Kenji loves bagels. (And yes, the one he is eating was imported from Jersey, thanks to his Bachan. If it’s from somewhere other than Dirty Jersey or NYC, I believe it’s called a paperweight. Or a bagel-shaped turd. Or squishy cardboard.)

I was a little hesitant to give Takeshi the “learning” chopsticks but he took to it immediately. No learning time; he went straight to using them. I first learned when I was 8 (practicing with Legos) and my brothers took longer; I think Takeshi may learn sooner than I did.
