Last weekend was unbearably hot so I let the boys play on the deck with all their little water toys. Takeshi decided playing was too much work and that sitting around was much more effective.

We were dogsitting last week and that poor dog was never safe from Kenji’s overwhelming “giddyyup.”

After much thought, we decided it would be best for Takeshi to get a skateboard when he could actually ride it (versus at Christmas when he’ll be forced to wait months before riding it). Here he is, moments after leaving Wally World with his new board.
