We got takeshi a14″ bike today. Kenji is almost a master at using the training wheels.

Today, we went to a local Asian market. The boys got to see their first retarded fish. We also learned that they sell pig butts.

Takeshi caught a beast of an ant.

We took the boys to Fountain Rock Park and visited the Nature Center and also walked around the pond. Takeshi humored us by riding his bike for about 30 seconds before taking off to conquer the playground.

Jay was sliced open yesterday (Friday) to remove one of the lumps from his neck. They’ve sent it in for testing and should have results by Tuesday. The doctor says he is 75% certain it is a form of lymphoma (most likely Hodgkin’s). We have our fingers crossed that it’s just some sort of infection. In the meantime, he is slowly recovering from his out-patient surgery. Luckily the weather is nice enough that I can take the boys out for some fun in the sun. And here is the obligatory post-procedure picture.

Takeshi’s class had a haloween party, so we all joined him.
