The boys like to remove the seaweed wrappings from their rice cracker snacks. As you can tell by their faces, this is serious work.

Working on breakfast for the week. The bread came from the bakery my mammy works at. Thanks mammy.

I got a frozen caramel smoothy at panera the other day while I worked. I wonder if people use these for felching.

We visited our not-so-local local Asian grocery store the other day and were greeted by samples of a Korean noodle soup (aka ramen). The boys loved it so we picked up a few packs. Once home, I inspected the nutritional info and it looks like we may be making a switch sometime very soon. Our old standard ramen has 21 grams of fat per bag; the ‘new’ ramen only 1 gram of fat.

I also find the “slurping is allowed” tagline an interesting show of culture. Had it been Japanese, it probably would have read “slurping is mandatory.” Japanese is the only culture I know of that allows (and almost requires) slurping of noodles as a sign of “well done” to the cook.

This breakfast was made courtesy of Pillsbury. Because I am too GD lazy but I wanted something warm, toasty and artery-cloggingly good this morning.

Our country is taking the war on obesity very seriously; it has added another meal to our day.

Gawd Bless the USA.
